The Aqua League,Chapter 5: A new love

"How sweeeeet!!!" Kristen and Suz said in unison. I had told them about what me and Blake did during the night. No, we did not sleep with each other...I'm 14..seriously... I got up from my table and said, "Gotta go now" I said while looking at my watch. "Blake's almost done with swim practice, see ya guys later!" And I quickly turned around and headed towards the pool. I looked down and saw that I was wearing a baby tee from Roxy, and a pair of billabong board shorts. I checked to see if my flip-flops looked alright and jogged over to the pool. To my surprise, Blake wasn't late. In fact, I caught him coming out of the changing room just in time. Steve was talking to him. Blake caught my eye and grinned. He walked over to me and pecked me on the cheek. Steve was still waiting there.

"So Blake, can you come?"
"Sure, of course...uh, can I bring over a couple of guys?"
"Sure, the more the merrier I always say."


He laughed and jogged off to Melody who was waiting for him on the other side. "What was that all about?" I asked curiously and I put my hand around his waist. He put his arm on my shoulder and replied,

"It's his beginning of summer party. The biggest party of the year. And we've just been put on the guest list."
"Cool. When?"
"Tomorrow night."
"On such short notice?!"
"Don't worry, you look good in anything." WIth that he kissed me on my lips lightly. I was used to this PDA by now. It was so typical Blake. I looked at my watch." It's almost 2! We have to be at that run down construction site near the park by 2.30!' "Don't sweat it Aly, I got us a sweet ride. Just get your stuff and we'll be on our way." I raised an eyebrow but didn't think about it.

Much.

We went up the elevator to the girls dorm lobby. He plopped down on the couch and waited while I ran to my room to get my stuff. I dug in my pocket for my room key and opened the door. I ran to my room and took my cell. I looked at myself in the full-length mirror. No way was I going looking like this. I stripped off my clothes and walked into my closet to see what I had. I picked a normal black tee that said "I am who I am." and a pair of knee-length shorts. I took my room key and ran back out to the lobby. "That was fast." Blake said while looking at me. " Just call me speed" I said jokingly. As we reached the parking lot of R.A, I got curious as to what this 'sweet ride' was. He motioned to a sleek black scooter. I gaped and asked "Where the heck did you get this!?" He grinned again- he just can't stop today- "My dad's old scooter. He got a new BMW and sent it over." He handed me a blue helmet and put on a red one himself. "He started the scooter and I climbed on at the back of him. "You sure you know how to drive this thing?" I asked "If I didn't, would my dad even give it to me?" He said in his oh-so-professional voice. "Hold on tight." I linked my arms around his waist and I could swear I saw him turn redder than his helmet. He revved the engine a couple of times before he sped off. It was great feeling the wind through my hair. I closed my eyes and imagined us flying. When I opened my eyes we were passing by the beach. And I shuddered at the memory of Garrett. I shook off the sensation and turned my attention towards the road in front of me. We were nearing the park. I heard someone honk their horn behind us. I was Kristen, Ed, Kevin, Suz, and Ryan in a taxi van behind us. I stuck out my tongue at them and vice-versa. Then the scooter slowed down and we came to a stop. As I took off my helmet I said 'I love-!" Blake smiled and cut me off saying . "Me or the scooter?" I laughed "Both" I said. We waited for about 2 minutes before I caught sight of the taxi. "' About time!" I said to Ed who was coming towards me and Blake. "You try riding in a cramped taxi van with Ryan laughing behind you...Who's idea was this anyway?!" Ed said and colorful language started pouring out of his mouth. That is until Kristen came up to him and told him to calm down. "So...where is this run down construction site?" Kevin asked. "I really can't wait to get my tail back." He said enthusiastically. Everyone stared at him. "Can't take a joke much?" He said. We all laughed at how teen wanabe he sounded. "Oh and guess what?" I said as we were making our way through the park. "Blake got us all on the guest list to the party of the year!" Suz and Kristen started talking about what they were gonna wear. Ed and Kevin were giving Blake a pat on the back. Then Ryan asked "What party?" Everyone looked at his clueless face. "Suz, you explain." After she explained we reached the site. It was actually this private property that was abandoned. So, technically....it is also where couples would make-out. So we just sat down on the ground for awhile. You know, chilling and all...




(Kristen)
The gang sat down for awhile. I followed but then got restless and walked over to a secluded area. I leaned against the bark of a tree when I felt someone touch my shoulder. I jumped and turned around. Instead of some mad-murderer there, I saw Ed.

"Sorry, did...I scare you?"
I shook my head "No, it's ok...I'm fine..."

There was only awkward silence from then.

"Good...I just wanted to see if you were okay."

He looked like he wanted to tell me something but walked away.
"Wait!!" I said and held onto his wrist. He looked a little shocked but moved closer to me. He hesitated for awhile but placed his hands around my waist.
I responded by putting my arms around his neck. He was maybe, 2 inches taller than me? Our faces were so close. I could feel his breathing. He looked nervous. And backed away. I looked down at the ground awkwardly... to be so close...yet so far from that kiss. "It's ok." I said to him forcing a smile. As I started walking back to the gang.

Suddenly he grabbed my arm and pulled my close to him. My body was against his. My hands were on his chest. He cupped my face in his hands and kissed me. He actually kissed me!! His arms wrapped around my waist, and I moved my hands up to his neck. Gently, stroking his soft, black hair. 20 seconds later I heard Ryan laughing. Me and Ed stopped kissing and looked to our left. Ryan-of all the freaking people- had seen me and Ed making out. Shit.

I was about to go after him when Ed held my hand. "Let him go," He said. I nodded.

He never let go of my hand and brought me to the back of a tree. "Kris...I've always wanted to tell you..." He looked down awkwardly at the grass. "Yes?" I said hopefully. "Kristen I....I...love you!" I looked up and practically drowned in his hazel brown eyes. Not being able to believe what he just said. And kissed him. He kissed back, not knowing what to do. We stopped and he asked me."Will you be my girlfriend?" I paused for awhile. "Of course" and hugged him. Sure, he may not be as good-looking as Blake, or as cute as Ryan, or as funny as Kevin. But he was perfect the way he was.




"And that's where I saw them making out!!!" Ryan said. He was telling us what he saw. I couldn't believe it myself. Kristen? Ed? Making out? Like...woah... Suz started crying. "*sniff* She's all grown up now!!" Everyone laughed, then fell silent when we saw Kristen and Ed coming back. Yes if you were wondering-they were holding hands. "So," Kristen started. "Lets power up!" We all got up and linked hands. A few seconds later, we were in spandex outfits...again... But then suddenly, I felt a gust of wind and saw that there was this mini-tornado, and saw that Blake was inside. "Do something!" I yelled. Kevin morphed into an eagle and flew into the tornado. He flew out with Blake but before they reached the ground the tornado engulfed them in again. "Ok," Suz said very leader-like. And flew in. She didn't come out. A split second later all of us were in it. I heard a familiar scream. Kristen I think. Then it ended. Just the sound of the violent wind beating against my ears blocked her screams. If this were a movie, there probably would be that song 'I believe I can fly" as a joke & thought of that. I don't know why but I just relaxed all of a sudden and that song rang in my head. Then I thought calmly with my eyes closed (as if the scene was calm. You know, asides from the fact that I was in a tornado and my friends were practically yelling their heads off. Whatever) "Can you hear me?"

That was a little stupid to think of but then someone replied.

"Yes"

Okay , so I was thrown off. I mean, so talking to myself calmly is weird. Getting a reply? Weirder.

"Who is thinking?"
"This is Suz"

I was kind of getting the hang of this. Just think of the message and to whom. Suddenly an annoying, all too-familiar voice buzzed in my head.

"Ooh, I can eavesdrop!" Ryan thought
He started to laugh and Kristen interrupted with an ear-piercing scream.
"Oh Goody! Kristen's here!" I thought happily. I dunno why I thought of that but I just did... I sounded like we were all just relaxing at my place having a cup of tea. But apparently, we were communicating with each other by telepathy while being trapped in a tornado...

Typical day with me ehi?

Anyway, I didn't get a friendly welcome since Kristen screamed again. Another voice broke through our conversation. If was probably Kevin. "Shut up!" He thought. Despite being in a tornado, I heard a loud slap and kevin "Ouch..."


Unlike the others, I continued to have a telepath conversation with Suz.

"Maybe it's Blake. I mean, he started it!" Suz thought. "True, but are his powers so powerful that he could lift up 6 people without knowing it?" I thought back -Whoa. Hold on. I sound so wise. Like the Dalai Lama guy and I didn't defend him fiercely or anything! That proves a different me...
"I agree, but I think he's doing all this so only he can stop it!" she thought

Was it me or did Suz sound...excited?

"I know! We have to think to him!" I thought. I kept thinking "Blake, can you hear me?" repetitively. Finally a loud voice boomed into my head. "ALYSON! HOW THE HELL DO I STOP THIS TORNADO?" His voice- like I said- was unnaturally high and squeaky and totally freaking out. "Calm down." Suz thought serenely. "YOu have to control your powers by being calm. Blake...we have to know, what were you feeling before the tornado started?"

Before he could say anything, I felt myself falling back down on the ground. My eyes flew open and I saw Blake sitting there in disbelief. I rushed to his side and hugged him without even realizing. He hugged back and then kissed me. I felt a jolt of electricity flow through my veins. Then I heard Ryan laughing and Kristen and Suz going 'Awww' I realized what we were doing...sure we've done this loads of times but not in front of the Aqua League...

My mouth tore away from his and vice-versa and we let go of each other.

"See, at least I didn't do it in front of a crowd." Ed said. Blake glared at him and took a few steps closer to me. "We should be getting back..." I said. Everyone agreed.

As they were making they're way to the park again I felt someone hold my hand. Blake. I turned around and found him smiling. "We're not done yet." He said. I raised an eyebrow flirtatiously and followed him to the back of a run down building. When we got there, guess who we found making out? Kristen and Ed. They stopped and found us staring. I stifled a giggle and Blake gave Ed the "Now-who's-doing-it" look. Kristen and Ed let go of each other. Embarrassed. We all laughed at what we were doing. Me and Blake went behind the tree and as I looked over Blake's shoulder, Kristen and Ed were back to business.

Best friends do have a lot in common...


After a few minutes, my cell rang. The caller ID read Suz. Whoops. Forgot about them. I looked behind me to see if Kristen and Ed were still there. No, they weren't. I motioned for Blake that we had to go.We ran to the parking lot and found all of them, waiting impatiently."Sorry" I said. "We...uh...we..." I was looking for the right words when Ryan said. "Caught up in making out...wow....big problem there!" We laughed. Blake put on his helmet and I put on mine and he started his engine. "See ya guys!" Blake said. They all made faces as we rode off. It had only been 2 hours and was now 4. "Back to R.A then" I sighed. Blake laughed. "What's so funny." I insisted. "Nothing, nothing...it's just that...when the tornado ended...I don't even remember how...All I remember was running, at light speed...and then...I was spinning around. Weird..." I thought for awhile..."You have super speed?" I asked. I sounded like a little kid who found out that the flash is his dad or something...

"I guess..."
"Cool..." I said. We both laughed and rode off. "I heard that there's gonna be a seven minutes in heaven thing at the party" I said. "Is it true?" Blake grinned. "Of course, every good party has one, and we'll all know what we're gonna be doing." Blake grinned sheepishly. I pecked him no the cheek and he blushed a little. He always does when I kiss him unexpectedly. It so cute!

Elements part 4: At last the Elements unite (Narrated by Aby)

"I can't believe you gave BLAKE mouth to mouth resuscitation Aby!" Melody said to me. I could see she seemed very, very...shocked. "Melody...EARTH TO MELODY, that guy nearly drowned. It was bad enough I had to do it infront of his girlfriend..." I replied while we were eating in the canteen. "Geesh...ok. Anyway, there's a beach party going on tonight, you guys up for it?" Melody asked. I looked at Clara, and Eva. We all nodded in unison. Then the drones of doom walked by us. Knocking over a glass of water as they walked by. "Oops, I'm so sorry. You know how klutzy I can be." She said it with such a big FAKE smile. Guess who they spilt it on. That's right...yours truly. Thankfully being the guardian of water and all that mumbo jumbo, I made it evaporate. "So, Eva, where have you been lately, I've noticed you've been spending a lot of time with that football jock, David..." I said, trying to start a conversation among my friends. "Yea, well...We talked and had lunch together a few times. I met a few of his friends. Nothing much happening there..."Eva started as she seemed veeery interested in the conversation when I started talking about David Michael. Obviously, all of us knew that she was crushing on him. we just kept quiet for the sake of Eva's image, tough and hard-core, but we all knew that she was a big softie deep down. "Well guys," I said while grabbing a sandwich "You've got swimming training with Blake and Steve. Ok see ya!" Clara said. They were so used to me always skipping classes with an official letter and missing lunch to go for swimming practice that they didn't mind as much as they did before. As I was walking away from the cafeteria I heard Melody shout to me "TELL STEVE I SAID HI AND THAT I LOVE HIM!!!" This is what I mean by 'love messenger'. It's always either, 'I miss you', 'I love you', or 'Tell him to call'...Or sometimes, it's all 3. I got on the elevator and pressed the 'close' button when a pair of hands and blocked the door from closing. It was Steve. Speak of the devil much? "Hey" He said to me. I nodded in acknowledgment. It was about 5 seconds when the elevator jerked and stopped awhile. "Ugh! Great...technical difficulties!" I said to myself.

I must have been imagining things but Steve started smiling as I uttered those words. Half a minute later the elevator jerked again and I lost my balance. I dropped my books and fell when Steve caught me. My arm on his shoulder and his hands on my waist. His gaze caught mine for awhile until I realized who's arms I was in .I quickly got up and started picking up my books. Steve helped. "You okay?" Steve asked me. "Yea, I'm fine. I'm fine." I replied quickly. Not being able to believe what he just did. I mean, he has a girlfriend who is apparently my best friend!!!. Then as I was picking up my books I noticed he was helping me. And when I turned to get the last book I found that his hand was on top of mine. I was shocked and looked up. Only to know that he was looking into my eyes. His gaze was penetrating. But in a good way. His eyes were like an endless pool of brown liquid. It was so deep and soothing and- wait! What am I saying? He's Steve!!! I snatched my hand away from under his and I heard the elevator ring. My floor. I quickly walked out. Not wanting to look back on what just happened. Am I falling for Steve?



The elevator doors closed. What the heck did I just do?!? I'm with Melody for crying out loud and there I was holding Aby...in my arms...her best friend! What's wrong with me. But the weird thing is...it did'nt feel wrong. Am...I
falling for Aby??


Anyways, I have better things to do. Like train for the swim meet. Which Steve also happens to be in.
Dammit.
I quickly searched for my room key when Alyson, and her friends-I think their name were Suzannah and Kristen- came from the opposite direction. Since I needed to know where Blake was I hesitated before asking them. "Urm...your Aly right?" She nodded. "Is Blake coming to train today?" I asked very hurriedly. She nodded again. "Ok, well then can you tell him that we're doing diving today instead of the usual laps so it'll be pretty quick. You can come and watch if you want. Don't worry. He won't drown this time. he's in better shape than he was when he first started." She nodded again. Not talking to me. Just staring at me with that 'why-the-hell-is-she-telling-me-all-this-anyway-look' I ignored it and continued. "And also..." the tone of hesitation in my voice rose. "Tell him I'n not going because I have extra classes." "Okay." She finnaly answered. I thanked her. Then I went into my apartment and closed the door behind me. I ran to my room and shut the door.I just stood there in the middle my -and Melody's- room. I lay down on my bed for awhile and thought of everything. Then Steve popped into my mind. I've always thought of him as 'Mr. Ego' and it's true. He is Mr Ego. But in the elevator. He seemed like. Well, his gaze was actually sincere. Then I thought of my powers. I opened my palm and found there, floating on it. Was the crystal that had my element. Water. It glowed a misty blue. Like sea blue. And I took the pendant from around my neck and put that on my palm. Then as if by magic, the pendant started floating as well. I wasn't surprised.

Much.

That guy who gave us our powers said that when we put them together, we would become the 'Spirit Saviors' of the realm. Or something like that. I took my hands away and the crystal teardrop and pendant merged together as one.
I rushed to the elevator but stopped short when I remembered my encounter with you-know-who, so I took the stairs instead which kinda wore me out. Serves me right for taking the stairs but hey, when you were in the arms of a hot guy who is also the boyfriend of your best friend you-

Crap.

Did I just call him hot?? Oh Gosh what's WRONG with me?? I'M TURNING INTO A MELODY!!! Okay...stay calm. Abigail Glenns you will not fall for Steve. He is not the good-looking, muscular, swimmer you have known before you met your best friends. ARGH! I have to stop thinking about him.







Elsewhere....
"Hey Steve! Wait up!" I heard a voice say behind me. It was Blake. He ran up to me and asked "You going for swim practice today?" "Yea. Uh...Is Aby going?" I asked nervously. "No. She said that she had extra classes to attend. Why? You want her to attend?" Blake asked slyly. I nudged him in the ribs and said. "Pfft. Please. Melody is the one for me..." My answer didn't sound very assuring so Blake just continued. "I understand. Melody's hot and all but she isn't much of the committed type is she?" I was shocked to hear what came out of his mouth. He smiled and started again. "She's my ex Steve. I would know. I was with her in 7th grade. We only lasted for 3 months. Why? Cause there was no commitment. None. Zero. Zilch. But we stayed friends. Aby on the other hand. Don't get me wrong, but she's great. Good-looking, good at sports. Not a bimbo and a tomboy. But, most of the guys are afraid to ask cause they know that she gives a hard punch." "How do you know all this?" I asked confused. "What? Is it a crime against humanity that my girl talks about these things with me?" I nodded furiously. Full of sarcasm. "All in all Steve. You and Aby would make a good couple. I mean come on! You guys are like, close friends. And you know you can trust her. Am I right." I looked away. "My point is, you'd be happier with Abygail." "Look Blake, I appreciate your concern and all but I've said it once. And I'll say it again. Melody Cornwall is the one for me." I concluded not being able to take anymore of the truth."Suit yourself." He shrugged I'm just telling you from Aly's gossip" He walked off in the opposite direction. "Blake!" I called out to him. "Yea?" He replied. "Thanks." "No prob. What are us great guru's of love for?" He joked and walked away.
Maybe Blake's right. Maybe, just maybe if I look at it from another point of view, Aby is actually more appealing than-...Naah.





"Guys, guys!" I said while running up to Clarabelle, Eva, and Melody. They turned around and saw me running up to them. Panting. "Take-out-your*pant*-pendants-and*breaths*crystals-and-merge-them-together." I saw Clarabelle taking her pendant out and I quickly snatched it from her. "Not here!!" I glared at her. She gave me that oh-right-sorry-I-forgot look. The blur one. I was too tired to nag her so we just took a slow walk to our rooms. Then we walked to the elevator. I panicked and begged them if we could take the stairs. In vain. The doors opened and guess who we saw there. You bet. Mr. Ego with his swimming bag slung casually over his left shoulder which was very broad and muscular. Just like his other shoulder. Did I mention he has dimples? And- holy crap! I'm not supposed to be this observant.

Ugh.

Anyway. Despite my pleas we went in. Melody stood next to Steve. Duh. And I stood as far as I could get in an elevator from him. They-Melody and Steve- talked, and Clara was talking to Eva. Most probably about them being labeled 'le' it couple'. I just kept quiet. Steve kept glancing at me with a look of concern on his face. I caught him a few times but ignored it. It seems he got the message. Thank God. I was the first to go out of the elevator but it seemed Steve had the same idea so we kinda...collided at the doors....yes, embarrassing much...Our shoulders touched, our arms brushed and we caught each other's gaze. I made sure that that moment didn't last long and backed away quickly. "Sorry" I managed to mutter through the redness in my face. He put his hand on my shoulder and nodded. Then he kissed Melody goodbye and ran out. As if he was late for an important class. Or in his case. Swim practice. The girls looked puzzled and I shrugged my shoulders to them. Making it look like I was just as clueless as they were. But I wasn't. If they knew what was happening to me. Right then. We -me and Melody- would lose our friendship.






We rushed into our apartment and checked to see if Alexis was there. No sign of her. They took out their pendants and crystal tears. I already had mine out. We sat in the middle of Eva & Clarabelle's room. Everyone had the crystal in the left hand and the pendant in the right. Slowly, the same thing happened to theirs. As soon as the pendants merged. All four of them floated up and started rotating in a circle. I gaped in amazement as a bright light flashed and an image of that guy...whose name we still don't know...He was smiling. "Well done girls. You have completed your first task. Discovering yourself. Now you will wait for the right time. I have sent another guardian to watch over you and train you. Any questions?" He finished. Clarabelle put up her hand...typical of her anyway... "Do we have like...cool costumes we use to fight in battle?" He smiled kindly and nodded. He waved his hand over her and she found herself...different.

Her hands-from her palms up to her elbows- were bound with cloth. Like the ninja kind. She had on a sleeveless V-neck tee and loose pants. Her fringe was parted. Her hair had green streaks. She looked like a regular ninja.

He turned to Eva and did the same. But Eva was in a sleeveless black zip-up turtleneck. The bottom of her top was decorated with flames of red, orange and yellow. Her once dull brown hair now was layered and had red streaks in her fringe, Her pants were long and blue which complemented the top nicely.

Melody's turn. Her long black hair seemed to grow another foot or two until it feel down her waist, It was tied up in a long ponytail and her fringe had silver streaks. She had on an off-shoulder green top with a sliver gem in the middle. Her pants were also blue.

Lastly. He came to me. My hair seemed to get a little more curlier and had deep streaks of blue. I had on a spaghetti strap blue top and a white one underneath it. My blue pants had an orange sash across it.

Clare jumped up and down. Obviously ecstatic.Who knew someone like him would have a good fashion sense... "Wait," he said. "You'll need weapons worthy of your use." He muttered some words that sent chills down my spine and infront of us. A small sphere of light appeared. It was the size of a beachball. The guardian of Water shall reach into the sphere first and pull out your weapon. I felt a lump in my throat. The sphere glowed a warm colour of yellow and I reached in. I felt something and pulled it out. It was a dagger. But not just any dagger. It was a dagger that seemed to be made from solid ice. "The daggers of ice." He said. "Don't you mean 'dagger;" I corrected him. He raised an eyebrow and looked at the dagger -the size of half my arm- and said "Flick it.". "Flick it?" "Yes, flick it. Like a fan" Like I had a choice? So I did as I was told and to my surprise. Five more daggers appeared. I stared and them and put them together. immediately they became one. "I love this job" Melody said. The guardian of Air shall be next. Melody pulled out a long metal chain that was metallic silver. ""The whip of the wind" To use it. Well, it is rather obvious how to use it." Melody nodded and said "I need something to carry it though...He sighed and a belt appeared around her waist. "Next, the guardian of Fire." Eva pulled out gloves. ""The flaming claws."" he announced again. Eva put them on and looked puzzled. The next instant claws shot out from in between her knuckles. Like wolverine. Except hers were red in colour and ten times harder than steel. Lastly, Clara pulled out a sword. "The blade of earth." The sword came in a bag and a small pouch was dangling from it. She opened it up and she found small little metal stars. The ones ninja's throw. He nodded "I how that you will use these weapons, along with your powers wisely. Ne slowly started to fade. "By the way, my name is Taiyoo. And meet your new trainer at the tennis courts of your school tomorrow at noon. Sharp on the dot. Good luck. And he faded, along with our outfits and weapons and the crystals slowly floated back into our palms. There was long silence until I said "Who's up from ice-cream?" Everyone nodded and we left. Our minds filled with thoughts of the future.

The Aqua League,Chapter 4: The League is formed.

Here I am. I thought to myself. Shy, self-conscious Alyson Nor. In the cinema, sitting next to the guy of my dreams. Blake Chen. Sharing popcorn, legs brushing each other. Despite the movie going on, everything was quiet. It was as if someone had emptied the place, leaving me and Blake alone. I gazed into his eyes and he gazed into mine."Aly, I've always wanted to tell you th-"

RIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!
The stupid alarm clock rang
THUMP!
Ouch. I fell on the floor.
I turned around to see Kristen clapping,"Very graceful Aly!" while controlling her laughter.
Not doing a very good job by the way. I glared at her. It was the only natural thing to do other than smack that smile off her face. "Listen," she said and sat down on the floor next to me. "Ed, Kev and I are going for a party going on down the beach. You up to it?"
"And go with Kev? Hell no!" I replied in disgust and threw a pillow at her.
My aim was off that morning. Who am I kidding? My aim is always off.
"Well," she said while catching the pillow "I was just asking Mrs. Chen, no need to be so touchy."

My face felt rather warm. I ignored the fact that it was and then Kristen closed the door behind her. I climbed back into bed and opened my bedside drawer. I took out my diary and began writing...


Sunday,Rose Academy....

Everyone likes the weekends. Especially me, despite the fact that me and Blake are an official couple. I'm glad it all worked out. Turns out that the girl outside the Bio lab wasn't Abygail. Eventhough we thought it was, it was actually Blake's cousin. Who looks surprisingly like Aby. And the girl I saw him holding hands with in the nurse's office was also his cousin. I hate the fact that he has a cousin who almost looks identical to Abygail.....

Anyway, the point is, that all our problems are finally gone. Besides our new found abilities which we discovered last week...then no problem....

I, have the powers to manipulate and create fire. Not to mention turn into one myself...

Blake, apparently is kinda like Robin from Batman, he can suddenly do a heck lot of combat moves. Not to mention his reflexes improved.

Kristen and Suz have almost identical powers. They both can fly, the both have superstrengh. Kinda like Superman, or in this case, supergirl.

Kevin has the ability to morph into anything. Like Mistique from X-Men.


Ed can camouflage with his surroundings like the chameleon from X-Men!!!I mean like seriously become his surroundings...

And yes, if you are wondering I am a comic book geek.

I closed my diary, locked it and kept in in my bedside table drawer. I looked around my room. Messy, unmade bed, clothes on the floor. And I smiled. This was my nature and no way was I going to change it.



The guys dorm...
"You guys are leaving me on campus by myself with Aly?!?!" Blake said, not that he didn't mind. "Hey dude, we didn't say you couldn't come...Bring you-know-who. I'm sure Kriss must have told her by now." Ed replied. "Kriss??" Ryan mocked. "He nick-named his girlfriend! But I suppose that's what guys do when they have a girlfriend." "Ryan," Ed said while knocking on his head.
"Number 1-Kriss, I mean Kristen is not my girlfriend.
Number 2-She doesn't like me in that way
Number 3-This is none of your business anyway"
"Don't worry Edmund, us single guys will keep is a secret" Ryan said with a sheepish grin on his face. "Uh, hate to burst your bubble Ryan but," Blake said "But the feelings between you and Suz just ain't mutual, and its single guy by the way..."
"Thanks Blake, your such a great friend" Kevin told him in disgust. "Your welcome chum." Blake smiled at him sarcastically.
"Blake, back to the point...are you coming or not?" Ed asked. He hesitated-Blake I mean- and said "Why not?"









I was about to open the door when I realised that I was in a tank top and shorts. I quickly changed into jeans and another tank top (yes, I like tank tops...deal with it)
and grabbed my room key just as I was about to leave my apartment. Seeing as I was the only one there, cos Suz was at cheerleading practice and Kristen was out with Ed and Kevin for God knows why? We were supposed to meet at the run-down construction site at 4. Now it's 2 so I'll go pay Blake a visit at the poolside. Hopefully...nothing major happens again.


I walked to the pool to see how he was doing. swimming. Doi.
"Wow, Steve's really pushing it"
I had said it aloud without even realising it and guess who came my way?
The 3 drones of doom. That's right.
Stacie,Kacie and Tracie.
3 triplets who have the school by their fingertips.
"Phew, they passed me" I thought. They were going towards the pool side to where Steve and Blake were. They started talking.
But, why were Blake and Steve laughing along with them? I mean, aren't they TAKEN by ME and Melody?
Ok, calm down Aly...I'll just walk over there. And ask...
I walked over and smiled at Blake. he immediately smiled back and grabbed hold of my hand and kissed me on my cheek. Talk about PDA much?
He whispered in my ear "Hey, did the guys leave you alone on campus as well?"
"You know it..."
"See you on the beach?"
"You bet!"
I skipped -literally- away back to my room to get my books for my next class. What could I say, I was happy.

Then came nightfall.

Ok scrap that. Then it was time to go to the beach party.


I got dressed. Well, almost...



"AAAA! I CAN'T FIND MY ONE PIECE SWIMSUIT!!"
"Aly? Everything okay in there?" I heard Suz say.
"Oh yeah sure. Besides the fact that I can't find my one piece, yeah everything's fine and dandy!"
I replied back, as annoyed as ever. Suz came in my room in a bikini with blue on black hibiscus flowers and handed me one of her cute bikini's that was red and black. "Then wear this...and I'm not taking no for an answer Alyson..." With that she shut the door behind her, leaving me speechless.


What choice did I have? I put the bikini on, and covered myself with a loose yellow t-shirt. I packed my stuff just as Suz came in. "Ready to go?"
"*Sigh* As ready as I'll ever be." I replied back.





We took a cab to the beach and started searching for a spot. I found one, a nice shady one in fact and set up while Suz went to look for the rest of the gang. I quickly took out my 'Meg Cabot' book and started devouring the last few chapters when two warm arms grabbed my waist and before I knew it, I was in the arms of *sigh* Blake. He had a really good body. I put my hands on top of his very masculine ones and leaned back on him. "Been working out I see. I can almost spot that 4-pack coming along." I said jokingly. "Mhmm" He said and ran his fingers through my hair.
"Wanna go for a swim?" He asked. But before I could answer, the next instant I found myself thrown up into the air and in the water. Blake swam up to me and smiled. "Wow, a mind reader now I see." I said moving closer to him. "That's just the beginning." He wrapped his arms around me and said. "I'll be right back with drinks." So he got out and I floated there for awhile. The next split second he was back. But without the refreshments. "And just where are the drinks," I asked him suspiciously. But before I could say anything I realised that it wasn't Blake, it was some sort of sea creature.
A green slimy one. He put his hands on my neck and slowly, I felt my energy draining. Before I blacked out I heard Blake -the real one- shouting my name. And saw that beside him were Ed, Kev, Ryan, Suz and Kristen. They all swam towards me and that sea creature, but I was pulled underwater.

Before I knew it. I was out like a light.

I woke up. But only to find that I was nowhere near dry land. I was in some sort of submarine. And my hands were tied up behind my back with metal chains. And it wasn't just my hands, my whole body was tied to a metal pole. The chains were weighing me down and there was no way I could move my hands, let alone use my powers, which I couldn't anyway. I was drained of all my energy. I looked up and saw that sea creature. Smiling. "Hello Aly, remember me?" It said it said in a sly voice. One that was weirdly familiar.
"Do I know you?" I said sarcastically though it wasn't exactly the best time. "It's me Aly, Gary. And your my bait for revenge against Blake."
"Blake?" I said furiously not wanting him to be dragged into a topic about me and my mortal enemy who was the son of some crazed mad scientist who was arrested after poisoning his own son with some sort of toxic.Plus, he was crushing on me. "What did he ever do to you, and I see you haven't changed ehi?s!"
He ignored my last statement. "Blake took you away from me Aly. But once I get rid of him. You're mine for the keeping. Permanently." "No, it's me you want! Keep Blake out of this." I felt tears stinging my eyes. "Too late for that Aly, 2 years too late. Then he walked out of the room leaving me alone. Crying.



"What the heck just happened? Was Aly just kidnapped by some guy who apparently, looked like Garett and a fish put together??" Kristen said in a panicky tone. "Calm down Kriss. We just need to get her back out here, instead of down there..." Ed said with concern in his voice. Kevin and Ryan were pacing. Suz and Ryan were trying to make a plan. But Blake. He just stood there "It's my fault." he said. "Dude, it's not your fault. No one knew that this would happen. Don't be so harsh on yourself." Kevin said while patting him on the back. "If I didn't leave her in the first place. None of this would have happened." He said and hung his head. "Blake, everything will be fine. You'll see. But first we need a better idea on what's going on down there" Kristen said in a very leader-like voice. "Kevin, morph...into a fish, a dolphin maybe. But whatever it is go down and find where that 'thing' or Garett, took Aly and keep in contact through telepathy. He nodded in unison. And dived down into the ocean. It took Kevin about 5 minutes to find that huge submarine floating in the middle of the ocean. He saw a window and peered through it. There he found Aly. Tied up in chains. Sobbing,
"Aly, Aly" Kevin tried to use telepathy. She looked up at the window. And smiled.

Kev, you guys can't come down here, Garett is going to kill you guys if you do. Especially Blake. He's using me as bait.

That's not how it works Aly, we're in this together.

Then just please be careful. He's got security cameras everywhere. Kevin the 'dolphin' nodded and swam back to shore. He explained to them about what Aly just told him. "She's being held captive, and he's after Blake. And he's using Aly as-" Kevin told them. Blake looked furious, and determined. "Bait...." He said, his voice in a tone of seriousness and fury. "He's using her as bait to get me?? When I get my hands on that fish face I'll-" "Woah, slow down there tiger," Suz told him. "We all know how much you care about her, and we do too. But first thing's first. We need a plan. And we have to get our powers to the max...but how?"

And eerie silence fell over them. "So Aqua League, what are we going to do?" Kristen said

"Aqua league? We sound like a comic book..." Ryan groaned. They glared at him. Now wasn't exactly the right time to complain. "Hold hands." Kristen continued. "Excuse me? This is no time for PDA Kristen." Blake said in frustration. "Look we want to make this work don't we. Just follow what I say but first, let's go to sunset cliff.


Sunset Cliff.


One of those secluded places for couples, but right now...it was for The Aqua League, to get their full powers. They held hands. "Ok...how is this supposed to help us?" Ed asked confused. "Concentrate. Just like that day in the lab. When we were in our other forms." And they did. Slowly, a sphere of light began growing in the circle the Aqua League had made. It grew bigger until it covered the group and when it disappeared, they were transformed, from 6 kids in swimsuits, to The Aqua League.


Kristen, was in a strapless skin-tight, black leather suit, she had silver cuffs on her wrists and had silver knee high boots. She also had a silver belt equipped with small boomerangs

Suz, was wearing a navel bearing white tee that had the superman 'S' on it. With it, she wore a blue mini-skirt and red boots that stretched up to her thighs and had a red cape on her back.

Blake, wore a blue and black suit that showed his muscles and almost-there four pack.

Ed had on a black mask that covered his eyes and a green suit with yellow gloves and boots,

Kevin, red leather suit with golden gloves and boots. He kinda looked like the Flash from justice league. He also had on a gold head-band that made his brown hair spike up.

Ryan, had a blue mask on and a blue suit on as well. Well, more of navy blue. His boots were silver. No gloves.


They were ready. "How deep is the submarine Kev." Blake asked with more determination than ever before. "I'm not sure, but it's not too deep down. We can swim there but I'm guessing that's what he wants us to do." "Okay guys, on the count of 3, we dive in. 1...2..3"

As they were swimming they could roughly see what looked like a submarine. "Hang in there Aly, we're coming" Blake thought to himself.







"Your friends seem to be taking their time Aly. Looks like I won't have to do any work after all." He came closer to me and put his hand on the side of my face. I moved it away but he held my chin. "You listen to me, and you listen good Aly, I still love you. And don't think I won't do anything about your prince charming. As long as I walk the face of this earth, he will not live to see you." "Think again Gary." I heard a familiar voice behind him. I crained my neck and saw Blake there, with the rest of the gang. And they were all in skin tight suits. Cool...

"Let Aly go Garett, and we'll leave without anyone getting hurt." He said calmly. "Hmmm...no, and you'll be the ones getting hurt so let's do this the hard way." And the battle started. Blake moved aside before Garett could hit . And did a back flip while kicking him on the back. He fell but got up again quickly. Then he came face to face with Ed. Who suddenly vanished into thin air and got several punches out of nowhere. Ofcourse, I knew it was Ed camouflaging. Blake came running towards me. "Are you okay?" he asked as he was face to face with me. I nodded. Happy to see him. "Suz a little help here." Blake shouted across the room. Suz shot a beam of read laser out of her eyes and the chains melted away. Next thing I knew, I was in Blake's arms. "I'm so sorry. I will never ever leave you again." "It's not your fault, It was no one's fault." My tears were flowing down as we hugged. Then Blake was jerked away from my grip as a ball of sludge hurdled towards him. I turned around and saw Garett laughing. Ryan started laughing. "Uh oh...not good" I told the gang in telepathy, Ryan's gonna start laughing. close your ears. We all did, leaving Garett confused. Ryan's laugh grew louder, and louder, before you knew it he was sending out sonic beams of laughter that made the whole submarine shake. Garett closed his ears too but then he kicked Ryan in the gut and his body was hurled towards the hard walls. Ryan groaned in pain. Making Suz furious. and she flew at light speed towards Garett and tossed him against the wall but he bounced back and body slammed Suz. "Guess you guys are outta practice. I'm winning." Garett said slyly. "Not yet" Ed said and vanished again. But Garett threw sludge at him making him visible and vulnerable. Garett punched him in the jaw and threw him against the wall but Kristen caught him just before he hit the wall. Kristen tried a different attack. She knew that flying wasn't going to be of any use so she threw the boomerangs towards him but he dodged them skillfully and pushed her to the wall. Hard. She fell to the ground in pain. "Well, well well Aly. Looks like your the last one left. What you gonna do to me? Turn into a magical fairy and sprinkle magic fairy dust on me? hah. If your 6 friends couldn't defeat me what do you think you can do?" I felt my rage coming out. A bright light blinded me and before I knew it, my jet-black hair fell down my back and I was no longer in my swimsuit. But I was in a green leather suit with a gold belt, boots and gloves. I looked at my hands, they were flaming from my fingertips. My whole body was on fire. Everyone stared at me.I looked down at my hands and looked up at Garett, who was standing in a state of shock. "Well, Gary, try this one on for size big boy." I clapped my flaming hands together and open them up, only to find a small ball of fire there. Garett laughed. "Aw, Aly's gonna hit me! I'm sooo scared!" I felt more angry than I had ever been. As my anger grew, so did the ball of fire secured in between my palms. It grew to the size of my whole body. "You better be scared" I said to him and threw it at him. He hit the wall of the submarine so hard that the whole thing flipped over a couple of times. In the end, when the submarine stopped Garett was lying on the floor, unconsious. Kristen gave me a thumbs up sign and Suz smiled a thank you at me. I looked around. The wall where I threw the fireball was scorched and black. Everyone seemed fine and they got up. A couple of bruises, that's all. No one got seriously hurt. So we decided to move out of the submarine while we had a chance.

Everything was over.


Or so we thought it was. That was until I walked by to see if Garett was still breathing when his eyes flew open and he grabbed me by the neck and secured his arm under my chin. "Hahahah. You didn't think one stupid ball of fire could stop me from getting Aly? WRONG. No, I'll make all of you suffer, as you see her have a long, slow, painful death." Blake took a step forward. "A-tut-tut. Touch her, and your next." He was gripping me really tightly that I almost couldn't breath I elbowed him in the gut both of us fell. Blake grabbed my hand and all of us started running. Not very heroic, but that guy just didn't seem to get the die-and-go-to-hell phrase very well. We shut the iron door behind us and I melted the iron to seal it up. Then we destroyed the whole submarine and swam back to the surface.



"Anyone who's dead say aye!" Ryan called out. "The aye's have it. No one's dead. The Aqua league has defeated their first enemy." "The whaat?" I asked confused. "Aqua league Aly." Kristen told me as if I was some little girl. "I'm 'Wondergirl', Suz is 'Supergal', Ryan is 'The Laugher', Blake is 'HotShot', your 'Phoenix', Kev is 'Frobin', and Ed is 'Invisiboy'. How you like that..."
I replied with, "Phoenix...that could grow on me." There was a bright flash of light and we were back to being 7 kids in swimsuits. "Let's get back to the party." Kev said. "Okay, but no swimming for Aly" Ed said. We all laughed and swam back to shore. The sun was setting as we dried ourselves off. Blake came towards me. "Hey." Hey was all it took to make my heart flop again. "Hi..." I said and I sat down on the warm sand. Blake sat down next to me and drew me closer to him. "About, today...It was my fault. If I hadn't threw you in the water in the first place none of this would hav-" "Shush!" I said and put a finger to his lips. "I'm fine, I'm not hurt, no bruise, no scars-minus the emotional ones- and we're all alive and well. The Aqua League was formed, and we defeated our first foe. Today was fine. We're bound to encounter more. So hush." He smiled at me. And hugged me. Some of the other kids from R.A started playing slow music. The sun had set and the night overwhelmed the sky. I put on my yellow tee. It was getting cold. Blake threw his shirt on. I got up and forced him to start dancing. It was a vain atempt for him. We all ended up laughing at each other. "Hey, we don't have a song!" He said out of the blue. "What about this one?" I said referring to the slow song playing now. "Hmm...I supposed it would do." He said. "It needs to be special though..." I said. He lifted my chin. "How's this for special." He kissed me. Our kiss was long and deep.


There we were.


Me and Blake.


Under the starry night sky.


Kissing.


And dancing to our song...


This seems like the perfect happy ending doesn't it? Pfft. yeah right...

"I can hear your thoughts" Suz said to me. "Y-you what?" I said, half shocked and half speechless. Everyone stared at Suz. "S-suz, Y-y-our flying, your rea-ally fly-flying." I managed to say through my choked words. "AAAAAHAHAHAHAAAAHAHA!!!!!" I heard laughing again. Ryan. The first and obvious name that came to my mind.. "Ryan, that was not a good time, she is flying 7 feet off the ground and your laughing?!" Ed said. "I-I haaahahahaha can-can't st-sto-stop!!!!AAAAAHAHAHAHAA!" "Well, gee...that's a logical answer." I said to try to lighten things up. Except I ended up making Ryan laugh harder.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!Ma-make me-me st-stop!!" "How?" Kristen said. Suddenly Ryan started laughing again. He laughed so hard that this time, he sent out sonic waves or something. I covered my ears and watched in amazement as the beakers and jars started cracking and eventually breaking. Then he finally calmed down. "Ryan, what in the bloody hell just happened?!" Blake asked him. "Blake," Ryan said while catching his breath. "You do not swear at your best friend, whom was just going through some sort of weird seizure..." Ryan said. "Kev, you have a tail..." Kristen said while pointing at something sticking out of his, uh...you know...behind...."Cool!" I have a tail!!And it's furry! Ooh!! And I have claws as well!! I look like a gerbil" Kevin said while waving his tail around. "Dude, we get it." Ed said. The next second Kevin was gone and instead, there was a gerbil in his place. The next second it was Kevin again."Woah, you can morph!" Ed said."Ed? Where are you?" Kevin asked shocked that he heard his buddy's voice but his buddy was no where to be seen."I'm here Kev. Behind you"Ed said and suddenly a blur image of Ed appeared. "I've been here the whole time"Ed said."Ed, your, your head is floating." I informed him. Stammering. I looked carefully and realised that Ed was blending with the background. Camouflaging to be exact..."No it's not it's just- HOLY CRAP I'M DEAD!!"Ed said but he slowly realised that he was still in one piece. "Thank god..."Ed said relieved. "It seems that everyone has acquired some sort of 'special ability'...."Suz said ."I can fly, Ed can camouflage, Ryan can, uh...laugh?" "Correction, I can send out super sonic waves WHILE laughing!" Ryan his face full of triumph. "So in other words, all of us have powers..."Blake said "Not just powers!"Suz said "All of us are telepatically linked plus I said we had powers like, five minutes ago..." I ignored them and started trying out what kind of 'power' I had.
The dream...I thought. It was still crystal clear in my head. I closed my eyes and thought about my dream. I replayed the whole thing in my head. The flames, as if they were worshipping me, protecting me from whatever evil that was there. The flames were so warm. They danced of the sides of my body, the tips of my fingers. I felt as if I could stay there forever. "ALY!!!" an ear-piercing scream brought me back to reality. I opened my eyes and realised that I wasn't dreaming, the flames were really there. It looked as if I was on fire, but I didn't burn. The flames didn't hurt me. A split second later I realised that, the flames WERE me.

I looked at my friends. They gaped at me in amazement. Then the flames on me just died down. "Woah, Aly...your power is like, manipulating fire..." Ed managed to tell me.
"Tell me something I don't know..." I sighed. "Well, your hot..."Blake said out of the blue.
Everyone stared at him "I meant temperature wise..." he said awkwardly. I could feel my cheeks burning by the minute. "Kristen what can you do?" I said changing the subject. "Well," Kristen said "I had this dream that I could fly, and do things like lift things 300,000 times my size and-" "Wait," I cut her off. "You had a dream about what kind of power you had?" I asked "Because if you did, then it can't be coincidence because I had a dream that I have fire powers."
"And I dreamt that I could laugh without my braces!!" Ryan said. "Ryan, number one, you took off your braces last year, number two, with or without braces, your laugh is still ear-piercing..." Blake concluded.

"Okay, tell you what. We all meet up at the 'Holiday Escape Lodge' and we'll talk about it then. I'll make sure my dad gives us rooms."
Okay, so maybe I haven't told you before but my dad owns the 'Holiday Escape Lodge' . One of the most posh hotels in the country. "It's a deal then?" I asked. I secretly hoped Blake could come. There were things we needed to go through. Everyone agreed. After school, all of us met up at H.E lodge at 7pm.
"Kristen!!" I yelled. She was the first to arrive. I was thankful. "Heyz! Aly!" I hugged her as if we hadn't seen each other in ages. "Suz is on her way here with Kevin,Ryan, Ed and Blake. You could say she's the 'official bus' to H.E lodge. We laughed at the thought that she'd be in the car with her mother and 4 guys.
"So, " Kristen said as she tried to start some small talk with me as we were going into the elevator, up to our rooms on the 8th floor. You may be thinking now, "I thought they stay at a boarding school?!" well, yeah about that I forgot to mention earlier than we're allowed to stay out of school on weekends but we would need official letter from out parents and all that crap.
Bzz bzzz, bzzz bzzz. My cell. "Hello?" I said. "Aly, this is Suz me and the guys are in the lobby, come get us PLEASE HURRY!!!" and she hung up "Haha," I laughed aloud "It's Suz with the guys isn't it?" Kristen asked with a smirk on her face. "DUH! How I so wouldn't want to be her right now!"

Me and Kristen hurried downstairs and brought them up after greeting her mom. Our rooms we're next to each other. Rooms 207 and room 208. The plan was to go for dinner and stay there for the whole weekend but only discuss the powers and stuff on the 2nd night. After all of us unpacked we went down for a wonderful delicacy. All you can eat buffet dinner. As usual, the guys and I stuffed our faces. Yes, I'm a glutton and I have no shame to say it.

I.Am.A.Glutton.

It was 11.30pm. I got up and put on my orange tank top and a pair of black board shorts and headed out the the swimming pool. Where there was a mini waterfall. It's were I usually go to do my thinking. I plopped down on a chair near there and gazed into nothingness. I replayed everything that had happened to me since starting school at R.A
New friends, new enemies, new rivals, broken hearts, and now this. Getting powers.
And Blake. I never gave him a chance to tell his side of the story. It must have been painful to almost drown like that. I sobbed softly until I noticed someone starring at me. I looked up
and I saw it was Blake. I saw a sense of sincerity and a feeling of hurt in seeing me. I turned away but he put his arm around me and gently lifted my chin up. "I'm so sorry Aly. I never meant to hurt you. But I-"
"Hush." I said while putting my hand on his face. "I'm sorry too. I never should have jumped to a conclusion like that." He smiled at me and wiped my tears. I rested my head on his shoulder and kissed him. We spent the rest of the night talking until I looked at my watch and it was 3 a.m in the morning. "I'd better go Blake. I'll see you later." He nodded and we went back to our rooms. I fell asleep the moment my head touched the pillow and I woke up to see Suz and Kristen around my bed. Smiling.
"You are not going out of this room until you tell us what happened last night." Kristen said and she held up a red rose. "I smiled and read the card on it, which read

"Aly, I love you.
Be my girlfriend.
I will always stay faithful to you.
Just say the word.
Say yes, for me.
And be mine..."


I smiled and told Kristen and Suz everything that happened. Went they left me to my own privacy. I stared down at the sweet smelling rose in my hand. I looked at it and said to myself.
"Yes, I will..."

Elements part 3: Fate and destiny have to happen sometime...

That is how Melody Cornwall is felling now. Her friends may always be there for her, but now she has to discover this on her own. She walks out of her apartment, only to find the hallways of the girl's dorm, empty. "Eva is probably out training..." she thought.

Abygail Glenns, as you already know is stuck with the job of training newbie Blake Chen with Steve J. Rodriguez. A.K.A, Melody's boyfriend, not to mention, she is also stuck with the job (as Melody refers to) as 'love messenger'. Melody saw a note on the fridge. It was in Clara's usual square-ish writing. It read
'Gone 2 garden. u noe y. b back b4 science class in the Physics Lab,Clara'

"Great...now I'm alone..." Ever since Clara discovered she could communicate with plants, she's been in the garden everyday.

Bzzz!Bzzz! Melody's cell phone started vibrating. The caller ID read S.J.R
"Finally!" she thought
"Hey! Steve, perfect timing as always"
"Hey, yeah. Um...you busy now?"
"Define busy Steve..."
"O-ook I guess that means no...Listen a few of us are going down to the beach. Wanna come along?"he asked
"Sure, why not?I'm alone in my room anyway...,"
"So it's settled then. Get your stuff ready, I'm coming over!"he said and hung up.
"WAAAHOOOO!" Melody said with a big grin on her face while jumping up and down. "Finally, something to get my mind of things." she said to herself while running around the room packing her stuff.

Ding-dong! She ran to open to the door only to find an empty hallway and a cool breeze. As if it were the air that rang the doorbell. But at this point, she'd believe anything. So she closed the door and went back to her packing.
"Argh! God dammit! Where the heck did i put my swimsuit?!"
*Whhoooooossh* a strong gust of wind blew something soft into her face. It was her swimsuit. She turned around to find her have unpacked suitcase had been somehow opened and her swimsuit was blown into her face."Is this my power? Controlling-" her thoughts were broke off by continuous knocking on her door.
"Steve!!" she exclaimed and threw her arms around him. Knocking him over. She kissed him and he had this smirk on his face.
Typical guy.
"So you ready to go?" he asked
"I was born ready" she said while linking arms with him. "Just let me get a few more things."
She got her bag and left with Steve.
"So, where's 'o few of us" she asked. A smile creeped across his face. "Well, I might have lied a little."
"Aw, that 's sweet. The kinda thing I like about you!" Melody said and squeezed him arm little.
She hopped into his snazzy Mercedes Benz and they sped of to the beach. Kinda like one of those movies, where the cowboy rides into the sunset on his faithful trusty steed. This was exactly like that except it was a convertible.
All through the journey, Melody had only one thing on her mind...
Her ability to control air. Another reason why she went out with Steve, she needed to get her mind of things.

Mainly the recent incident that happened. But there really is nothing that we can do...I mean. Destiny has to happen sometime...Right?

The Aqua League,Chapter 2: Powers(Narrated by Aly)

"I love you," the words echoed in my head. I still remember the look on Blake's face. I really wished I could have said something back. But that's just me now isn't it? Shy and blur. Well, if you're anything like me, welcome to my life. "HE SAID THAT!!" my best friend Kristen said with her jaw dropped. "Aw! How sweet!" My other best friend, Suzzanah said. "Look, it's just 3 words." I replied, as I felt my cheeks burning. "Aly, those were not just ANY words. He was holding your hand for crying out loud! Could you open your eyes and stop being so god-damned oblivious!" Suz said while practically jumping on her bed." Blake Chen. He just joined the swim team recently. Everyday, he goes to train with Abygail Glenns and Steve J.Rodriguez. Two of the best swimmers here at R.A. Well, they're also good at almost every other sport. Personally, I think they'd make a good couple besides the fact that Steve is already taken, ANYWAY, he trains with them everyday so sometimes I go watch him when it happened. I felt it again.Pain. A sharp pain in my chest. I was fine but Blake wasn't as he was training at that very moment in the 2 meter pool.I'm not sure if I can forgive him...even after what he told me. It happened like this...

The R.A. pool...
"Hey Kristen! I-" before I could finish my sentence, I felt that pain again."Oh god! Aly you okay?" Kristen asked. "Yeah, it wasn't as bad this time Kristen."
"BLAKE WHAT'S WRONG!" I heard someone shout.I turned around, it was Aby. Then I realised Blake was having the pain as well, except his was worse. Then I saw his head submerge underwater and Aby diving in. I raced to the poolside just in time to see Aby pulling Blake out. "He needs mouth to mouth resuscitation" Steve said. "On it!" Aby replied quickly. She was half way through when he started to cough. Aby stood back for awhile and tried again. I watched from afar. It all happened so quickly. I didn't know what to do. Then Steve brought out the strecther and him and Aby and a few other guys brought Blake to the nurses office. "Aly! What are you waiting for?!" Your Blake nearly drowned and your still standing here with that look on your face! Go you twit!" Kristen told me. I realised that, and I ran as fast as I could. When I entered Blake's room. My heart went through a shredder. There I was. I saw Blake, with Aby. Together. "Aly, this isn't what it looks like! Please!You have to understand." Blake told me."No, this is exactly what it is Blake. I never should have listened to you." I walked out,crying. "Ugh" I'm so stupid!" I kept thinking while lying on my bed."I could have just said something!" Then I heard knocking on my bedroom door. "Go away" I said."Please Aly, let us come in! We only want to help!" Kristen's voice. I got up and opened my door. As teary-eyed as I was before."You sure your alright Aly" Suz asked me with a concerned look on her face." Yeah,I'm fine.." I replied while wiping a tear. "Feel like telling us what happened?" I nodded and I started to feel the tears come in again. "Blake was to-together with Aby after sh-she saved him." I said through several sobs. "Are you sure? Did you give him a chance to explain?" Suz said, as Kristen watched. She never was the comforting type..."No, it's okay Suz. I'll get over it sooner or later. Thanks anyway but we're late for science in the physics lab now..." Oh crap, Blake's in that class as well...

Hi, this is the narrator. I'm not Aly. I'm just the writer. I'm gonna take you to the boys dorm now and see what Blake is up too....
"UGH! HOW CAN I BE SO STUPID. WHAT DID I DO SO BADLY TO DESERVE THIS!!"Blake said to Ed. "Well, Blake that's easy. You nearly drowned, made your girlfriend watch you nearly drown. And in the end, she sees you together with the girl that gave you mouth to mouth resuscitation.I still don't see your point as to why you DON'T deserve this." Ed replied. "Well, gee, that helped a lot Ed" Ryan said." Give the guy a break he nearly died AND lost his girlfriend."
"Look, none of you guys are actually helping. I mean. Ed what have you told Kristen anything about your 'undying passion' for her or Ryan have you told Suzzanah how you 'really feel'? Now tell me. Have any of you guys ACTUALLY told them that you love them!" Blake said "Blake that's a little harsh don't you think?" Kevin told Blake in defense of his buddies. "Whatever. Just- scrap this whole subject. We're late for science in the physics lab."

"In the Physics Lab I sat with Kristen and Suz. I seriously needed to avoid Blake and the guys. It's only my 2nd week here and I'm already a major emotional wreck." "Aly, stay calm. It'll be OK!" Suz told me. "Uh-oh here comes he-who-must-not-be-named..." Kristen whispered. "Not helping Kristen" I told her and groaned. "Aly about before I'm really-" "Blake! Give it a rest already! And give her a break! A break from her love life! A break from YOU!" Kristen and Blake were arguing until our science teacher, Mr. Ramsey entered. I had never been so relieved to see my science teacher before. "Good morning class! I am happy to say that as a surprise-"Mr. Ramsey was cut of by my thoughts, WOAH! hold up there! When teacher's say surprise, they mean group projects. Uh-oh.

In the Biology Lab...
"Hey! Look! What's the hole right there in the pelvis?" Kevin asked fascinated with the human skeleton in the Bio.Lab. "That my dear friend," said Ed while putting his arm on Kevin's shoulder,"Is an ass" concluded Ed."Right, and we needed to know that, why?" Suz asked disgusted by them. "Its- a guy thing" Ed said while high-fiving Kevin. "Right, sure, anyway we
have to start. The project thing is due by 7th period." Kristen said being 'the leader' and all. "I say we vote on who the leader is going to be. That way, Mr. Ramsey can scold them instead of us!" Ryan concluded happily." OK, how many votes to Kristen?" Ed asked. Everyone including me put up their hands. Problem solved. "OK, since I'm leader" Kristen said in a perky voice. "I get to split you up to do separate jobs." Everyone groaned. She started assigning us jobs. Like researching on the Internet jobs, or preparing the experiment jobs or writing the report and stuff like that. And yes, she bossed us around like hell. But I'm used to it....sort of...but it didn't really help as I was already in a bad mood. Once again the arguing started. This time. I kinda sort of started it. And that was the argument that changed our lives...forever....

" Hey Blake, isn't that Abygail?" Kevin asked. It was. I saw her at the window, motioning for Blake to come out. He walked out and the next second he came back in again. "What was that all about?" Ryan asked out of curiosity. "Nothing, just something about the swim meet." He answered coolly. I was suspicious and hurt. Kristen saw me and asked again "Oh, sure Blake. Swimming, lets not talk about that ok?" "Whatever." Blake said. I could tell from the tone of his voice that he was fed up and wanted to just, stop. Then it happened. We saw this fugure at the window. Well, I think I did anyway and I just started crying. No, there wasn't a bowl of chopped onions in front of me. I just needed to let it all out. I actually thought it was Abygail again. I didn't want to think of her anymore, I just wanted to stop time, and do over everything that happened. First, it was just a tear. "Aly, you okay?" Blake whispered to me. "Yea, I'm fine it's nothing." And I walked to the other side of the lab to get a few glass tubes. Blake followed me but Kristen held on to his shirt. "Now Blake, that's a big NO-NO!" she told him. I didn't here much from Ryan and Suz, I think they were talking about something. Anyway, I don't remember much about them arguing because there was this voice, calling me, I looked around. I saw nothing. I thought it was just me hearing things since no one else heard it. I turned around and Kevin and Ed were playing with the frogs and flies. Don't ask me why. I'm 14 and I still can't figure out guys. "Can you guys JUST STOP! fooling around!" Kristen ended up shouting. "Kristen , your head is too big for you, come back down to Earth, your being all bossy again!" Blake remarked. That's when it started. Ed defended Kristen, Blake started to snap, Ryan and Suz were trying to be peacemakers but ended up making it worse. Then Kevin fell and knocked over several bottles of chemicals that exploded infront of me and started burining."Aly! Blake ran to me to shield me from the flames. There was a strange smell and purple smoke started rising. All of us were out cold. I don't remember much(I never do), but I had this weird dream, where I was floating in the middle of nowhere. It looked like hell or something cos' there were flames everywere, but then after somtimes I realised the flames were me! I was making the fire! I didn't know what it meant but when I woke up, I was kinda kinda dizzy and blur(who am I kidding? I'm always blur) I was lying on something, I didn't know what but gradually I realised I was lying on Blake, who was still unconscious and I quickly got up. Luckily no one saw. One by one the guys slowly got up. "Anyone who's dead say I" Ed asked "The I's have it, everyone is alive!". "EEEEEEK!" I heard Suz's ear-piercing scream. "I'm-in-a-totally-cute-dress!"she said. "Yup, you are..."Kevin said eyeing her and Suz slapped him.
"What are you doing sitting next to him like that?" I asked Kristen. She saw that she was sitting next to Ed, rather too close for her comfort. Then I felt warm on my hand, Blake's hand was still on top of mine. I felt the heat rushing through my face and quickly took my hand off and avoided his gaze for the sake of me being mad at him... I could see that Kristen was about to make one of 'those' remarks...But she didn't
"AAHHHHHAHAHAHAAAAAHAHA!" I heard laughter. Ryan's laughter. "Honestly Ryan, what in the bloody hell is so funny?" Ed asked. "I DON'T KNOW!! HAAAHAHA!" well, gee...very good answer Ryan...I thought. Then Suz started at me. Why the hell is she looking at me as if I killed someone? I kept thinking. "Aly, I can hear you..." I was shocked and utterly blur...again. "It's Suz Aly...I-I can hear your thoughts!"

Elements part 2: The discovery between two lives

RIIIIIIIIIIING!!

Clarabelle Woods yawned as the school bell rang. She and her friends had stayed up all night, trying to figure out what these strange powers. Or as Aby had called them, "gifts" were. Aby had demonstrated what she could do. She had all power over water. So far, Melody, Evalyn, and Clarabelle still didn't know what their powers were. And that was exactly what they were trying to figure out. Their powers.
In Topaz Gardens' palace, Taiyoo was watching over them. Watching their every move, monitoring their every thought." Sire, is now the time?" said Yuari. A member of the congregation of wise men at Topaz Gardens, and Taiyoo's advisor. "Yes my friends, it is time."
Back on Earth, the girls were having free period in the library when they were once again were transported to the great hall in Topaz Gardens. "*Groan* What happened?" Asked Melody who was lying on the floor half awake.
"Welcome girls, welcome to Topaz Gardens,I am Taiyoo and you have been appointed as Spirit Saviours of the universe, each of you, holding the power of an element...."
"*blink*what?!" said Eva in utter-shock.
"This may seem confusing a shocking but you 4 have proven to have a very close relationship with each other, please understand this. Here you go girls. A crystal tear. Each of them holds your elements in your heart. When you wear it, your powers will increase. I cannot tell you anymore. The rest has to be discovered on your own." "Wait, no! Can't you tell us if-"
Before Eva could finish her sentence she found herself back in the library, as if nothing had happened.

Then the crystals became necklaces and the girls found themselves back in the library, as if nothing happened, except that they now had discovered a bit more about their powers and their destiny. Once free period was over. They decided to have a meeting.
"OK, so we have powers, but only Aby knows what hers are! How are we going to find out ours?!" said Clara frustrated." Why do these things always happen? I just don't get it. Why me! Why us! Why! WHY!"
"Uh, Clara..."said Melody
"WHAT!!"she replied
"Turn around" Aby instructed her.She did as she was told and got the shock of her life. The once small Bonsai plant sitting on the windowsill had know looked like it hadn't been tended to for years and was overgrowing its pot. It was impatient, the same way Clara felt. She walked towards the plant and sat near it. She put her hand on top of it and closed her eyes. Focusing her energy on it and before she knew it, the plant was back to normal size. Your average everyday bonsai plant. "Well, that's 2 down...." exclaimed Eva " So it's just me and you ehi Mel?"
"Looks like Eva"sighed Melody
"Well, it's been an intellectual conversation ladies but I have a swimming class to get to." said Aby while getting her bag and room key "Ciao!" and the door slammed behind her.
"Phew! Tough getting away from them..."she thought..."This 'powers' stuff is seriously getting to me.I mean sure I made them realise it and all but it's meddling with my life. At least swimming can get things of my mind. I hope" she thought to herself. As she approached the pool she saw some people in her class warming up. Then she saw Steve. "*groan* Great, Mr. Ego is in my class, just what I need to brighten my day." Aby said to herself. She didn't tell Melody that she had known Steve before Melody and him were together. Actually, Steve and her had the same swim coach.
*TWEET* the whistle blew and she saw Steve dive in. Aby and Steve were 'okay' friends as they seemed to have one thing in common, obsession with sports, swimming in particular. As she watched Steve swimming, she saw Alyson Noor and her gang, in other words, the newbies. "That Blake guy did seem okay...nah, not my type" Aby thought. Then she saw Blake come towards her direction. "Hey, your Abygail right?""Yeah, Blake right? Call me Aby. You in this class?"
"Seems that way, hey you know a guy named Steve here?"
"Steve Rodriguez?" She replied with a cringe.
"Yeah, he was my swim buddy back in the day. Heard he was here at R.A." Aby looked directly over her shoulder and saw Steve coming towards her. "Yea Blake, Mr. Ego is just behind me."
"Hey Stevy! Log time no see man!" "Stevy?!" she thought, 'okaa-ay I'll leave you two to 'catch up.'" she said and headed to the lockers.
"Hey!Aby!" said Marissa, Aby's swim buddy since 7th grade."Marissa! Long time no see!" Aby replied ." Hey Aby, were you just talking to those two guys? I mean the seriously hot ones?" said another girl. Also Aby's swimming buddy, Lilian. "Who?The 2 guys with abs who are talking to each other? Yea Aby was talking to them. God ! It's so obvious Steve .R is crushing on you Aby!He keeps looking at you! You guys would make such a CUTE couple!!" Marissa said "If it weren't for Melody, he would be yours. IN the bag!" "Totally" added in Lilian. "Eh, guys, earth to Marissa and Lilian!! HE'S TAKEN, what's more, BY MY BEST FRIEND. Still think a relationship with him is a good idea?!?" Aby said while waving her arms in the air." Look, Aby, we may not be your closest friends, but we know that he's probably crushing on you. "
"And probably is a -0% chance thank you, now if you don't mind, I think Coach Lynette is giving me a motion to change, and fast..."Before you know it, Aby's in the locker room and out in a flash. "What were you doing for the past 7 minutes Glenns?" "Uh, I was-"
"You were TALKING instead of TRAINING for the big swim meet!! I need you and Rodriguez to give me the gold. And you have a newcomer to train with. Blake Chen. Ah, here the comes the lad now!" "Lad?"Aby thought"What will she do next to kill my day..."
"Ah Rodriguez, I want you and Glenns here to train together from now and, Chen, train with them, they can give you some pointers on how we do it here at Rose Academy."Outside Aby was smiling, on the inside she was screaming, screaming on how her whole semester of swimming would be ruined by the thought of training with Steve and Blake. "Oh, and cut him some slack will you? The boy's new around here. That's all for now.Ah, yes and give me 20 laps before you go. Thank you" And Coach Lynette walked away."Well, looks like you guys are stuck wit me." said Blake. Aby glared at him and said."Shut up and tell us how fast you are..." "I'll do better than that. I'll show you!" replied Blake enthusiastically as he ran to the locker room to got changed. "Ugh!"Aby said after Blake ran off" My day cannot possibly get any worse than this!" "I know how you feel Aby." Steve said while shaking his head. Aby just glared at him.

Somewhere in the girls dorm...
Eva sighed. She felt uneasy. She felt insecure. She felt...lost, lost in a world of her thoughts. Thoughts about everything that has happened to her. Getting her powers, and watching her friends get their powers one by one. She really wanted to know what her's were. She longed to find out. Then she smelt somthing burning. "Melody? MELODY! WHAT DID YOU DO?!" she ran to their apartment kitchen. "I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! I SWEAR!
"Oh yea, you didn't do aything EXCEPT SET THE KITCHEN ON FIRE!"
"STOP!" At the moment Eva uttered these words the flames died down. Eva was shocked and tried again. "Dissappear!" And the flames vanished. "Eva, wh-what did you do?!" "Melody," Eva said, a smile slowly forming across her face. "I owe you one, big time!"

"Your majesty, how are the chosen ones?" asked Yuari. "They are well my friend, their first task is almost complete. Only the the guardian of Air has yet to discover herself....
